: Adults: 9.0-12.7 mm in length, convebody shape, generally green- occasionally brownish-yellow or blue.
Larvae: There can be up to 5 instars.
Life Cycle: The developmental period averages roughly 40 days. Development of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th instars averages 5, 7, 5, 6, and 10 days, respectively. Adults reproduce in summer on planted Japanese cypress and cedar trees, using cones as food sources.
