The Matrikx® ChloraGuard® 36-450-20-GREEN filter is powered by GreenBlock® technology, and are made from 100% coconut shell carbon. Coconut carbon shell media is a renewable and ecologically sustainable material that is processed into blocks using a unique binder system and proprietary manufacturing techniques to produce a filter with a greater number of micro-pores and carbon surface area, which display superior adsorption capacity and kinetic dynamics.
