The Shure Nexadyne 8/S Capsule is a supercardioid dynamic vocal microphone capsule for use with Shure handheld wireless transmitters. The 8/S features an innovative Revonic dual-transducer design that uses two separate, but interdependent sets of diaphragms, voice coils, and magnets. This unique technology gives this dynamic mic condenser-like clarity with a crisp, yet natural high-end and plenty of detail—allowing vocalists to worry less about mic technique and instead focus on delivering powerful performances.
The supercardioid polar pattern provides tightly focused audio capture centered on the performer in front of the mic, reducing bleed from other sources for a clearer sound and less feedback issues from on-stage monitors. A dent-resistant grille protects the microphone element, ensuring it survives the rigors of daily stage use. The Nexadyne 8/S capsule will work with any Shure handheld transmitter that supports interchangeable capsules including the Axient, ULX-D, QLX-D, and SLX-D systems.
